Bookings: My home - £28/hr. Your home - £33/hr
As teaching is my main source of income, the regularity of lesson bookings is paramount. It's important to secure the same time and day for a student's lesson every week.
I structure my teaching around the three terms of the academic year. Click calendar and termdates for more details.
After a new student has had two lessons with me, and is happy with my method, I ask that they take the decision to pay for lessons in advance. Ideally a 6-week payment will be made (half a term), but for those with unpredictable jobs, 4 weeks is acceptable.
The prepaying student will receive an individual tuition plan for the upcoming term. Click here to see a typical beginner programme.
This system benefits both student and teacher, as the student has a clear plan of what they will achieve in the term, and it gives me the security to be able to approach my job in a professional manner.
